Painting 

1st years

Through exploring and photographing the external school grounds, this project aims to open student’s eyes to the beauty of the natural landscape that surrounds them and seeing the space through a different lens. The project will produce 1 painting which applies the Rule of Thirds to create an interesting compositional piece with a foreground, middle ground and background. The main goal of this project will be for students to be introduced and gain an understanding of certain artistic elements like colour, tone and texture and how they are applied to create depth and the sense of perspective.
